Farmers Market

FarmersMarket01The Lewiston Farmers Market is located in the downtown on County Rd 612 next to the ACE Hardware during the summer months, and we have a convenient indoor location on Kneeland Street for winter and those rainy summer days. Our market is open every Saturday, 9:00 am-1:00 pm – all year, expect for a few weeks in February when we take a break. All of our produce is Michigan grown, Bay City or north.

The majority is grown locally in the Lewiston/Johannesburg area and is organic – no pesticides or chemicals of any kind, from the seeds to the soil and the fertilizers. We also have local eggs, which are mostly from free range chickens. We have totally organic eggs available. Locally made candles and soaps are available, along with Alpaca fiber and goat milk products. Spicy jams, seasonings and candies are available every week. Berkshire Pork and Beef products are available. Ham, bacon, steaks, chops and more. A large variety of baked goods are always available.

Come and see what everyone is talking about and enjoying! You may even get to meet a real farmer and educate your children as to where "carrots really come from".

New vendors are always welcome. For more information contact our Market Manager, Betty Walker at 989-858-6746.
